Edward previously led an independent M&A advisory firm supporting public companies and investment firms on executing buy-and-build strategies, as well as serving as an interim director for several funds and their portfolio companies. He has executed over 30 M&A transactions in 14 global jurisdictions including the USA, EU, and the Middle East with total transaction value of over US$20 billion.
He is formerly of Foresight Group, a UK-based private equity firm with circa $15bn in AUM where he focused on the firm’s proprietary fintech innovation investments. Edward has significant experience in innovative technologies, digital assets and fintech and founded and exited his UK based technology business in 2012.
He has also worked in Accenture’s M&A and Private Equity team, where he supported the growth of the Fintech Innovations Lab.
Edward currently serves as an independent director for several funds and operating companies.
Originally from the United Kingdom, he currently lives in the Cayman Islands.
